Apple Valley
This weekend our neighbors invited us to join them at her dad’s lake house up at Apple Valley. We had so much fun, even without air conditioning.
On Friday Amanda and I took the kids early so we could enjoy the beach.
Averi enjoyed the beach too.
Kaili loved the water. I had to keep telling her to come back in to the more shallow area.
After the dads got off work, we went for a boat ride. Averi thought her vest was a great teether.

Saturday morning we got back on the boat for some tubing. Kaili didn’t want to get back on the boat.
Each of the kids rode once with their dads and then Dan convinced Logen to ride with him and Kaili. It didn’t last very long because the two of them on the front kept making the tube nose dive.
Logen was being so sweet to Kaili. He found a flower, gave it to Kaili, and told her to put it behind her ear.
Once again, Averi really enjoyed the activities. I had to undo her vest a little and pull her arm inside because she couldn’t get to her thumb.
Then we headed back to the beach before packing up and driving home.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends here in Ohio.

Kaili is fearless! I love how she just got right on the tube.
