The girls and I went to my parents’ beach house for Easter, leaving Dan all alone to ‘bach it up.’ When I asked him what Easter things he wanted to do with us before we left, he requested dying eggs. Normally I find this activity more mess and work than it is worth, but we actually had a fun time.
Kaili picked out the kit. She loved listening to the dye pellets dissolve in the vinegar, getting to put the eggs in the cups ‘all by herself,’ and using the glue. (Note the ballet costume.)
Averi spectated (yes, I made that word up) and quite enjoyed herself.
Our finished products! Dan was very proud of his “Mardi Gras” egg, as I called it. It’s the blue one with circles and sequins all over it. Very manly!
