It’s all about the Candy, Right?

It was a lot of fun celebrating Easter at the beach, minus the fact that Dan wasn’t there with us. We were able to just relax and reflect on the great sacrifice that our Savior made for us. This was the first year that Kaili was interested in the Easter story and it was wonderful being able to share it with her. She still asks me to tell her the story of Jesus’ resurrection.

Easter morning Kaili found eggs hidden all over the house. (She insisted on putting her swimsuit on before looking for eggs.)

Averi ‘found’ her basket under a table and Kaili’s was hidden in a cupboard.
Kaili was super excited about the ears and Peeps.

These ears better not be a sign of any future career goals. From the look on Kaili’s face, I’d guess not.
We also got to dye eggs again and Kaili loved that this kit had paint sponges and brushes.
These two loved playing together. By playing I mean we would put a pile of toys on Averi’s tray and watch as Allie stole them and dropped them on the table on the other side of her Bumbo.
We have been so blessed and are continually grateful for the role that the Atonement and Resurrection plays in our lives!

That is so neat that Kaili asks you to repeat the story of the resurrection.
