Placemats

My friend Brandy, you know the super creative one, made some really cute placemats that we use whenever we eat at their house.  I always sit there the whole meal and try to convince myself to make some for my own table.
Well, I finally copied her once again and got around to making some of my own.  I was a little nervous about the fabric at first, but I think they turned out really cute!

I recently got these green plates (for a really good deal) and it is a lot of fun to finally see my kitchen looking like a family kitchen instead of a newly-wed kitchen.
